Ethiopian?[edit]

Is he really of Ethiopian descent, or is it just his name that is Ethiopian? Badagnani (talk) 18:59, 30 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This seems to address the issue: http://geraldofreire.uol.com.br/biografia_jorge_ben_jor.htm . Badagnani (talk) 19:01, 30 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Article name should be Jorge Ben[edit]

Every album I've seen credits him as Jorge Ben, without the Jor at the end. Article name should be changed to reflect the stage name he is most known by.Cosprings (talk) 18:02, 1 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You haven't seen enough albums then. http://www.jorgeben.com.br/sec_discos.php. -- Paul Richter (talk) 06:05, 3 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

"Commonly spelled Benjor"?[edit]

I cannot recall ever seeing the names Ben Jor smashed together. Someone please add a citation or two to the claim that his last name is "commonly spelled Benjor". I have little doubt that it might have been erroneously written that way at some time, but "commonly" seems quite incorrect. —giso6150 (talk) 04:22, 20 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
