WP:COMMONNAME for the Spanish footballer is always "José Parra", never uses maternal surname professionally - he is also the only footballer that uses this name. Sources: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 - every single ref and external link on page.

The Venezuelan footballer is always known as just "Mauricio Parra", doesn't use first name or maternal surname professionally. Source: 1, 2. Ortizesp (talk) 23:51, 25 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support per nom, with a whatnot between the two, as people searching for 'José Mauricio Parra' might understandably click on 'José Parra (footballer)'. GiantSnowman 16:07, 26 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
