League Title in Australia[edit]

It can be excluded, that José Valdivieso won "the league title" in Australia. For one, there was no league before 1977.

In the interview, as is quoted he claims to have attained the title with "Canterbury" Here are more details about the club:

OzFootball is the most authoritative site on football in Australia. The most Valdivieso could have won with "Canterbury" would have been the NSW 2nd Division championship of 1966, or one of the versions of the Ampol Cup, which are of such limited importance so that there are no readily available lists with the winners of these competitions. Apart from all this, Valdivieso found apparently no mentioning in one of the Australian mainstream media.
