Earth Day[edit]

How come there's nothing in it about him issuing the Earth Day proclamation? 69.236.85.177 02:19, 22 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Because no one has added it yet. why dont you?Mercurywoodrose (talk) 20:59, 25 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Family[edit]

Under the Alioto family section, could someone include John Alioto, his uncle who ran the Mafia in Milwaukee? John would throw parties for Joe, so they were well acquainted. ~~Gavin6942 — Preceding unsigned comment added by Gavin6942 (talkcontribs) 18:31, 22 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

While a John Alioto is mentioned at the Milwaukee crime family article, we would need a reliable source to link these two people. your say so doesnt cut it at all.Mercurywoodrose (talk) 20:59, 25 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

John O'Connell[edit]

The linkage to "John O'Connell" (attorney general of Washington State) is incorrectly to a person of the same name who was a New York State politician who died in 1946, long before the fee sharing scandal mentioned in this article.24.6.220.159 (talk) 06:24, 4 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Strikes, etc[edit]

Undeer the Political Career section, there is lengthy information about strikes from public service workers which should be pared down, if not removed altogether. It reads very jumbled and not much of the information provided links to Alioto himself. Thanks -Chimino (talk) 08:52, 9 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
