Untitled[edit]

The Nicopolis he stayed was on the Danube, in present-day Bulgaria

Yoseph Caro was not an exclusive Talmudist, he did use Qabbala as a source of law, for example his ruling on tephillin on hol-hammo'edh.87.8.134.88 (talk) 17:47, 11 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Palestinian rabbi[edit]

I intend to add he was a Palestinian rabbi to the lead, as the category has been removed by Debresser. Chesdovi (talk) 10:56, 24 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Caro or Karo Suggestion[edit]

I would like the article to pick the best spelling of Yosef Karo's name, and use that spelling throughout the article. Since the article is already called Joseph Karo, I proposed to change all the occurrences of the last name in the article to that form. Does anyone disagree? If so ping me. Otherwise I'll take care of it in a few days. --DaringDonna (talk) 19:32, 3 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
