Years active[edit]

If she retired following the 'demise of Eldorado' in the early 90s then why does it say years active 1962-97, years active only applies to work/career not life, and regardless of if someone is renowned for a particular profession once they stop doing it they're not active in that profession. – There are 16 women listed upon the Julie Smith and Julia Smith (disambiguation) pages, with at least one, Julie Smith (actress), also known as Julia Smith. Taking into account how common the name is, it does not seem likely that the renown of the producer/director from 20th-century British TV would overwhelm the combined notability of the other 15 women named Julie or Julia Smith. — Roman Spinner (talkcontribs) 22:02, 3 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
