Blocked editor, conflict of interest[edit]

This article (or more accurately CV) was authored by User:Jrf-web-team who has been blocked as an apparent group account related the an organization the subject of the article is related to. The article is unreferenced, and as biography of a living person, referencing of all facts is required. Google book search shows numerous references which mention Ms. Unwin, so it is quite possible the notability requirement WP:BIO can be satisfied. Perhaps the article should be stubbed rather than deleted. Edison (talk) 15:37, 10 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Oops...didn't notice that Jrf-web-team had been blocked. I speedied the article because I thought it was a pure advert (and CoI) by a promotional account. Again, sorry! Avenue X at Cicero (talk) 15:43, 10 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Searched Google News and Google Books, and added references for many of the career highlights. The British "honours" OBE and CBE as well as being head of or board member of many agencies are evidence for notability. Much press coverage quoted her in her present role as head of the JRF foundation, but they chose her because she was prominent as a theorist of "voluntary charities." One interview when she won the "Outstanding Leadership Award" had a lot of details fleshing out the bulleted career highpoints, and could be used to make the article more prose-like. I am done working on it for the time. Edison (talk) 17:35, 10 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
