The result of this discussion was not to merge -- Euryalus (talk) 07:17, 25 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I propose merging MV Juno, HMS Juno and HMS Junon into Juno (ship). All disambiguation set index pages of Juno or French variant Junon named after the goddess Juno, of Roman mythology; so still meeting the meaning of a set index. 109.37.142.176 (talk) 07:42, 1 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

These are not disambiguation pages therefore since you do not understand what a set index is, this is a malformed suggestion and therefore Oppose Llammakey (talk) 15:46, 1 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Well set indexes are used for “This article includes a list of ships with the same or similar names.” If someone looks for ship with the name Juno: it makes much more sense to have them listed at one page. 109.37.145.81 (talk) 19:48, 2 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Or what might be another solution that Juno (ship) becomes a disambiguation page with all the ships Juno, because per Wikipedia:Set index articles: “Sometimes there is both a disambiguation page and a set-index article organized about the same term.” 109.37.145.81 (talk) 19:58, 2 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Still oppose, because HMS Junon may have the same definition, but not the same name. This is a malformed proposal. There is no reason to duplicate an existing dab page (Juno (disambiguation)), especially since these lists are already linked there. 20:07, 2 October 2023 (UTC)
Oppose. Solution to a non-problem. Acad Ronin (talk) 22:09, 2 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose. I oppose the suggestion for merger made by the author as stated by others, but mainly this is not the purpose of merger, as merger is designed when there are multiple articles about the same event or subject. I also don't see how this would be confusing to readers and require a merger. Jurisdicta (talk) 03:40, 5 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
