King of Pop

Uh... He's only released one album. I don't think that just because he attempted to mimic Michael Jackson, makes him the king of pop music.

It's hardly Wikipedia's place to dub anyone anything. If we must include this, find the magazine, and phrase it something like: "Such-and-such magazine, in date, dubbed Timberlake the new King of Pop, supplanting Michael Jackson." I've redirected "Prince of Pop" to him, he's been called this many times previously. MJ even stated at a concert which Justin performed at. I'll find citations later - Leethal And I have changed it back to Andy Warhol as this is the name Google returns when you type in Prince of Pop.202.169.219.229 05:57, 28 February 2007 (UTC)

Usher is not so much a Pop musician, though he WAS dubbed the "Godson of Soul" by James Brown. He is and R&B musician.

He is not the King of Pop or the Prince of Pop any pages stating this should be removed.

Gay Life

I think that the gay life section is disgusting and all gay people should die! I don't get into editting wikipedia article, but the organization in this one caught my eye. The things in the love life section is redundant of the personal life section. Also under personal life there are references to him working on the simpsons, which shouldn't be in that section any ways. This is the first wikipedia article that has ever caught my eye as needing editting. I would do so myself, but I'm busier on other things. I would encourage you to get a user account and be proactive and make the changes. Facts or just making it up????

When people like Ebp112002 come and edit the pages, it's really annoying when they have facts like justified is certified 7x platinum when actually it's 3x platinum or when in australia, "my love" has reached number one when in fact it hasn't been charted yet. It's annoying because we have to keep changing it back. Please if u are going to change the page plz do your research or just ask me because i'm the one who regulary changes the page. Cheers Steve

The article states that 'Cry My A River' peaked at #62 in the UK. This is incorrect - it peaked at #2.

the certification by the RIAA of JT's album is wrong... it has been exaggerated by more than 2 X... go check billboard.com to verify guys... he ain't such a good artist... 5X platinum for futuresex/lovesounds... in california alone maybe!

do change it! Where the hell did the RIAA on this page come from, his debut album Justified DID NOT go 7x Platinum, he wishes, it went 3x Platinum. Also, futuresex/lovesounds is 2x Platinum. You guys need to verify your sources, please use www.riaa.com then "searchable database", you can find the correct riaa cert. there. I am constantly correcting RIAA mistakes on wikipedia, just because you like the artist, it dosn't give the right to increase its supposed number sales figures.

Record of the Year for "Cry Me A River"

I have not been able to confirm this anywhere - I can only find Google hits, where people are wondering if what they read in this article is true! It seems to me, that this is a rumour started here on Wikipedia.

Fair use images

The page has several images tagged as fair use, but don't belong since there already is a free version used at the top of the page. All images except the top one and the album art in the discography should be removed, it seems. Mosmof 13:39, 21 January 2007 (UTC)

POV Wording

i will be removing a few overtly POV phrases and words (such as calling Mr. Timberlake "sexy" in the introduction). While i do personally agree that he is sexy, this is not appropriate wording for an encyclopedia article.

Also, i would ask my fellow Wikipedians to please avoid using this discussion page as a venue to argue over and comment on Mr. Timberlake as a person. This talk page is only for discussing maintainence of the article in question.

I have no idea who Laura Chwieseni is, but she was not Justin's half sister. He did have a half sister named Laura who died at birth, but she was a Timberlake.
