Talk:Juxtapoz

This is the major magazine of an important 21st century art movement, it would be criminal to delete this article.

From the passage "Juxtapoz Art & Culture Magazine is a magazine created by painter Robert Williams to celebrate the genius of low brow art. " Art, like many other things, is subjective. To "celebrate the genius" of anything assumes everyone will agree that genius is involved which is just not realistic. I would suggest changing this one word. Tone[edit]

I'm concerned about the tone of this article. It seems to be a paean, rather than an NPOV article. It's filled with unsourced views of how great or important the magazine is. --Nat Gertler (talk) 03:07, 22 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Notability?[edit]

I added the notability tag to this article because its references are subpar. Of the three available, one is decent, one is a one sentence mention of Juxtapoz in a bio of the founder, and the last is a link to a blog post. I will delete that blog post ref if there are no objections as it is a non-encyclopedic source. The result is a lot of unsourced statements and questionable notablity. I removed the blog reference. It looks like notability is not the issue, this article simply needs more reliable sources. John Milito (talk) 17:01, 20 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
