About the article[edit]

I am aware that the article was deleted previously. I believe it was deleted because the article was not cited properly and was copy pasted. The person is infact very much notable. I am reviving this article and am currently working on this. Please discuss before putting this for (speedy) deletion.--Mathew Joy 18:02, 11 August 2009 (UTC)

HI Mathew. Yes, I agree, the article should not have been deleted. BUT, by any standard, it was very poorly written and full of POV. I've deleted the POV and rearranged what's left (If you're an admirer of his, you'll say I've butchered the article. Perhaps so — but we cannot have POV in Wikipedia). BTW, I used to be in the Brethren and still have a lot of love for them. I agreed with quite a lot of the POV. But we cannot have it here. Sorry. We still need to find references to support the claims the article is making. David Cannon (talk) 12:31, 30 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
