Merge[edit]

This article needs to be merged with KOKC-AM. It doesn't really make too much sense to have two articles on basically the same station. They are nearly identical, anyway, except this article has no schedule and some portions are from when this was at KOMA-AM. --WCQuidditch 19:26, 11 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, per WPRS there should not be an article titled KOKC-AM, just KOKC (AM) with a disambiguation page at KOKC. - Dravecky 05:57, 16 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Frequency change[edit]

There was no time when the FCC moved all AM radio stations 40 kHz up. In 1941, stations were moved up anywhere from 10 to 40 kHz (with some of the lowest-frequencies not changed at all) to accommodate frequencies that were reserved for Canada and Mexico. The statement that this station moved up in the 30s seems unlikely; it would appear that both the phrases "during this time" (meaning 1932) and "all AM radio stations" are incorrect. -- BRG (talk) 17:51, 16 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
