Ultimate Kaine[edit]

Bendis never mentioned anything about an appearance of Ultimate Kaine, and no one's been called "Kaine" either. Don't add speculation nor independent analysis/synthesis/comparison. --NewtΨΦ 20:43, 23 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, I was wondering... does anybody know if that melty-faced Peter-clone could be a sort of "Ultimate Kaine"? I'm not well-versed enough in Spidey-lore to know. -- Nick Begovich 04:05, 30 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

In my opinion, it was. So this page should have an "Ultimate Kaine" section.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.37.71.158 (talkcontribs)

I dont mean to offend but your opinion does not mean anything. POV is explicitly prohibited on wikipedia. Until the is conformed in the series in canon, any section would be speculation and there for non usable. Thefro552 01:52, 12 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thefro is right. Our opinion is irrelevant to encyclopedic entry by Wikipedia guidelines. If the comics don't call him Ultimate Kaine, he's not Ultimate Kaine. Doczilla 07:36, 12 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Amaz409.jpg[edit]

Image:Amaz409.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Created by...[edit]

All the Spider-Man comics at the time Kaine first appeared were created in collaboration between the writers and artists of all the books, so Kavanagh and Butler are not necessarily the creators of the character - we need more substantial evidence. Ultimate Spider-Man Season 4[edit]

This version of Scarlet Spider-Man was just named Ben and was credited as "Ben Reilly", NOT Kaine. Do you people now see why this type of original research is unacceptable? DarkKnight2149 13:13, 11 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Kaine (comics)[edit]

If this page turns on not being the primary topic. Then I would suggest the comic book character's name change to Kaine (comics) not (comic book character). Jhenderson 777 20:34, 12 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Or Kaine Parker. Jhenderson 777 20:38, 12 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Kaine RFC[edit]

Some editors here may be interested in an RFC at Talk:Kaine (disambiguation) on whether "Kaine" should direct to comic book character Kaine, to the disambig page, or to the Democratic nominee for VP.E.M.Gregory (talk) 20:59, 12 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
