Sea defences[edit]

These might have been the biggest in the world. But they have been completely destroyed. The article does not reflect this terrible fact. Names of the 'two Royal navy light cruisers.'[edit]

They were the HMNZS Gambia and the HMS Newfoundland. Not sure what the convention is for this type of article (as only the larger ships are named so far) but there were comparatively few RN ships in the pacific theatre so it might be worth naming them here.
