Luna Park ride a kamikaze?[edit]

The ride at Luna Park does not have shoulder harnesses, only a highly padded hydraulic t-bar that pushes into your hips. It is also double armed. Is it an actually kamikaze (ie: made by this company)? or is it a variant and therefore should be listed on a different page. Tinkstar1985 14:24, 13 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • It is most likely a 'copycat'I use this term very loosely and with maximum politeness produced by another company. Eventually, all near-identical designs produced by other companies should all be listed here. Help identifying the Luna Park Melbourne ride's manufacturer would be appreciated. -- saberwyn 04:43, 1 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Pharaoh's Curse at Luna Melbourne is described on the park's wiki page as "a Japanese made Kamikaze-style double-arm ranger"Irish Melkite (talk) 07:51, 29 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Trailer Permit?[edit]

"The entire ride can be stowed on a single 40 ft (12 m) trailer which requires a special permit to travel in the Continental United States" - What's the source for this statement? A 40 ft trailer is 13 ft shorter than the typical tractor-pulled trailer, so it isn't at all clear why any special permit would be required for it.
