Named for Karl Marx?[edit]

Having never visited this part of Holland and not speaking Dutch, I ask if this neighbourhood was named after Karl Marx. (If it was the name would have been given in the 20th century.) Did it have Communists in its local government?Cloptonson (talk) 19:28, 1 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
