Chinese and Finnish[edit]

To the claims of this being Finnish (Fisker Karma) and Chinese (Karma Revero) designs, it is a design from California. The design studio has always been in California, so the claim it is Chinese-designed or Finnish-designed is outright wrong. Just because a Chinese company owns Karma Automotive as a subsidiary does not make an existing design Chinese. The Karma Automotive factory is in California. When the car was initially designed, it was in a design studio in California. The designer, Henrik Fisker, is neither Chinese nor Finnish, he's Danish. For Karma Automotive, owned by a Chinese company, it's the same as claiming all Chrysler cars are Italian-designed cars because Fiat is in Italy (or previously German, because Daimler is in Germany) Or (Fisker Automotive) that the Apple iPhone is Chinese because it is built in China.
