Institut Pasteur[edit]

The article mentions a Pasteur Institute in Kasauli but according to WHO it is actually National Influenza Centre, Central Reserach Institute. Are we confusing it with the one at Coonoor (Ministry of Health, Gov't of India)? --Victor 22:30, 30 March 2007 (UTC) Central Reserch Institute was before its accordance with MOHFW India the Pasteur Institute and as noted NIC i.e. National Influenza Centre is currently a WHO collaborative Laboratory in the R&T wing of the Institute. So to reconfirm the Central Research Institute was Pasteur Institute —Preceding unsigned comment added by 117.200.75.211 (talk) 07:39, 2 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

WikiProject Guild of Copy Editors/Backlog elimination drive May 2011[edit]

In copy-editing I have Wikified: i.e., compacted text, removed any weasel words and phrases, removed unsubstantiated and editorialized hyperbole, advertising spam, loaded terms, and unsupported/uncited claims that existed.

I have removed the over-large and completely unreferenced section on the Central Research Institute – it was overweighting the article and, through its professional tone, a probable copyright violation. I have added an appropriate précis under the new Landmarks section. The 'Pasteur Institute of India' / 'Central Research Institute' deserves an article in its own right, but not a straight copy of the removed text.

What is left are disinterested apparent "facts", many that are still not cited to reliable third party independent sources.

If any new information is added, or the previously unsubstantiated reverted, do this with adequate linked evidence to corroborate assertions. Any future edits that display Wikipedia:COI or non-Wikipedia:Verifiability and are added from a non-Wikipedia:Neutral point of view will be swiftly removed, particularly anything like the previous hotel spam.

Before adding to the notable list of people[edit]

Anyone added here should have a Wikipedia article to prove notability and that they were born or spent significant time here - if not, the name should be removed. Ifnord (talk) 05:27, 29 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
