her gravestone records that she was one of the first three deaconesses and her work with the guild and Scotland's fisher girls. The stone also details her siblings: Frances Mary Davidson (1840-1920) founded London's St Columba's Hospital; Mary Margaret Davidson (1847-1914); Williamina Saida Davidson OBE who founded Scotland's Royal Soldiers Home and George Lewis Outram Davidson (1858-1939) (a founder member of Royal Aeronatical Society).
