AstroTurf[edit]

Article states that the field was AstroTurf from 1973-1994. I am pretty sure the original turf was Tartan Turf (from 3M, I think) but I absolutely remember for sure that at least at one point while it was artificial turf, it was Tartan Turf. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.136.150.113 (talk) 06:35, 4 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Possible conflict in article[edit]

This is actually correct. The stadium was opened as a renovated stadium before the renovation was completed. In fact it never actually closed and was in operation during the entire renovation. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.79.4.145 (talk) 15:26, 24 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

More Confusion[edit]

Article states that stadium was built for the Kansas City Athletics, who had just signed a new lease to remain in the city. Then article states that owner Charles Finley moved the A's to Oakland. Kansas City Stars and Frederick Johnson[edit]

Undid last addition by anonymous user: "The Kansas City Stars are a team in the stadium too. Though Frederick Johnson disliked the Idea since a crown is at the top of the screen he wanted. "

Although the edit was probably well-intentioned, it needs citation, rewriting and probably doesn't belong in the lede.TjoeC (talk) 02:59, 7 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Fence heights?[edit]

Does anyone know how high the fences are in the outfield? We'd appreciate it if whoever knows could share the knowledge with the rest of us.
