Encylopedic significance[edit]

As far as I know, Kebakko is not a Finnish meal, but a relatively unknown and recent industrial product/brand of Saarioinen Oy. As such, in my opinion, this article is erroneus and gives the reader a wrong image of the relevancy of the dish. Of course, I could be mistaken. I don't think that they are in any way especially popular compared to other microwave meals. When I think of it, my nearest convenience store isn't probably even selling them anymore. On top of that, I'm pretty certain that similar, self-made dishes aren't usually cooked at home. At least I've never heard of anyone making Kebakko-style meat sticks. With the help of an "Internet search tool" such as Google, you might find several non-Saarioinen references to this food, mostly recipes for making them at home. Such as this, apparently published in a somewhat notable Finnish subscription newspaper in 1991. Which kind of matches my recollection of seeing them as a child around that time.
