I would suggest that the articles remain separate because of the historical difference between the offices. Someone may care to expand the historical sections.Ncox 14:46, 20 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Mahomet, servant to George I[edit]

George I had two Turkish servants, Mehemet and Mustafa that he brought over from Germany. According to this source, Mahomet was made Keeper of the Privy Purse. I don't know for how long, but he should surely be included, if accurate. If someone knows more, please say here or just update the article appropriately.
