The image on this page is not in the public domain. However, I can get it released for use. If all artist-related articles relied on public domain images, then no living artist could have a wikipedia article with an image on it. Should I word to make this happen? The photo is not public domain, but as a low-resolution copy of his book cover its considered Fair Use. Basically the theory is that using this photo benefits the copyright holders in that it promotes the book. If you can get a release, that is better than Fair Use. Also an actual photo of Mr. Carter would help the article as well. SteveHopson 15:52, 6 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I have a photo, and I own the copyright. Unfortunately, I'm a novice at this, and I'm unsure how to handle getting it up on the page and in the proper place.--Jfulbright 21:22, 17 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Image of work?[edit]

Can we not get an image of his work? I think it would fall under fair use to have a book cover or SOMETHING. Jfulbright (talk) 18:34, 26 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
