This article has lots of information. The following minor issues are all that are keeping this article from passing. If they can be fixed within the next seven days (by July 21), Kelly Rowland will pass. Otherwise, it will fail. Examples include sentences that need to be split up, lack of references after many consecutive sentences, and improper use of Template:Main.

Lead
  • ...is an American recording artist, actress, dancer, song writer and model... "Songwriter" is one word.
  • ...contained influences of alternative-R&B and rock music.[1][2] Put his fact in the body as well, and move the references there.
  • Considerably less successful than its predecessor,[3], the album produced the hit singles "Like This" and "Work". Do the same here and remove the extra comma after [3].
  • with her contribution on DJ David Guetta's single Specify nationality of Guetta.
  • ...their 2010 joint single "Commander", Rowland's third number-one hit...[4] → "...their 2010 joint single, "Commander". This was Rowland's third number-one hit..." Also, restate fact in body as well with reference moved to there.
Early life
  • This is not required for GA status but putting this section into the Music career section and renaming "Music career" to "Life and career" or "Biography" is a format used in many featured articles, such as Madonna and Thomas Beecham.
  • Rowland was born Kelendria Trene Kamasia Rowland in Atlanta, Georgia, the daughter of Doris Rowland Garrison and Christopher Lovett, who were married after Kelly was born.[5] Does not flow well. Consider splitting it up into two sentences after Georgia.
  • The first two sentences of paragraph 2 need citation.
    • Not checked because it would help to find a source rather than putting {{Citation needed}}.
  • West coast R&B producer Make "R&B" and "producer" wikilnks.
  • ...original lineup to four[7] with LeToya Luckett joining in 1993.[13] Move references to the end of the sentence.
  • ...dropped months later before... Put a comma after "later."
Breakthrough with Destiny's Child
  • Specify year range in the heading? (ex. 2010-11)
  • Remove the {{Main}} template. This is a biography of Rowland and not a summary of the group as a whole.
  • ...their self-titled debut album,[9] spawning hits such as "No, No, No". Move reference to the end of the sentence.
  • The group rose to stardom after releasing their multi-platinum second album, The Writing's on the Wall, in 1999. The record features some of the group’s most widely known songs such as "Bills, Bills, Bills", Jumpin' Jumpin' ", and "Say My Name," which became their most-successful song at the time, and would remain one of their signature songs. Add some references between these sentences.
  • Survivor, whiched channeled the turmoil the band underwent, spawned its lead single of the same name,... What is Survivor? Specify that it is Destiny's Child's third album.
  • The album spawned other number-one hits—"Bootylicious" and the title track, "Survivor" Remove "other" as you already mentioned "Survivor".

  • Rowland rejoined Knowles and Williams... Give first names as well.
  • ...embarked on the 2005 Destiny Fulfilled ... And Lovin' It world tour... Concert tours aren't italicized.
  • They were also recognized as the world's best-selling female group of all time. By who?
  • ...rapper Trina... Specify nationality of Trina.

  • Remove the {{Main}} template as this is a biography of Rowland and not a summary of the album.
  • ...who contributed the single "Like This" Put "to" in between of "contributed" and "the".
  • ...previous album Simply Deep (2002)... Year is not necessary as you already spoke about it in the article.
  • Mysto & Pizzi, Sean Garrett, Scott Storch, and Atlanta-based Polow da Don, who contributed the single "Like This," Remove whatever is bold as it was already mentioned in the same section.
  • ...release, its lead single... Start new sentence after release.
    • Not checked: Replace "being" in the new sentence with "is".
  • NEW ISSUE: Rowland released her single "Motivation" featuring Lil Wayne in Spring 2011, and it reached number 1 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Charts and stayed for over 5 weeks. Reference please? Do not refer to seasons as they vary between hemispheres please. Use quarters. (ex. Third quarter = July, August and September)

  • Rowland played a pop star who falls for an awards-show seat filler she mistakes for a high-profile entertainment attorney.[71] Fix wording.
Philanthropy
