"Kesen language"[edit]

Can anyone please check the article Kesen language? All the sources are based on publications by one author without any peer review, which is quite problematic for articles about dialects. Maybe somebody who knows Japanese can assess it better. I saw that the article exists in Japanese and Korean Wikipedias, and there has been discussions about it there, but there was almost zero discussion here in en.wiki. Any help would be appreciated. --Amir E. Aharoni (talk) 13:44, 8 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Editing[edit]

I have updated and cleaned up this article to the best of my ability. I will add more information as needed. I have added references wherever possible. I also have removed the part "Rikuzentakata has been voted the 'Best Town in All of Japan' by the participants of the JET programme living there." as I have no knowledge of anyone in the area making this claim, it cites no references thus appears to be POV. Update[edit]

This article requires a radical update and overhaul. Since it was written, the boundaries have changed. Two of the towns discussed in the article are no longer part of the district, and text needs to be transferred to the articles on the cities they were merged into. Cities are not part of districts in Japan! The district now consists only of Sumita-chō. Skinsmoke (talk) 08:48, 4 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
