I'll find time to review this later this week or the next. Nova Crystallis (Talk) 08:20, 7 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • In the lead, maybe mention he declined going pro immediately after high school? Also worth mentioning how he signed with the Rangers instead of the Blackhawks.  Done
  • The lead should also mention any career highlights instead of just trades and new contracts.  Done
  • "Hayes' South Shore teammates included future NHL players Noel Acciari and Charlie Coyle." Why skip Chris Wagner? He's in the source. Done
  • Would the post-match summaries the BC Eagles games be a better source than previews, especially for goals and assists that happened previously?  Done
  • "the second-highest in the country.[9][8]" Flip the order of the refs.  Done
  • "Hayes and the Blackhawks could not agree on a contract by the August 15 NHL deadline for college graduates" This is in 2014, right?  Done
  • "however" MOS:EDITORIAL.  Done
  • "The following season, the Rangers lost Hayes again because of an injury, this time, the result of leg contusions. He missed six consecutive games but, upon his return, recorded an assist in the team's 6–5 win over the San Jose Sharks." Also sounds a bit too editorialized compared to the sources.  Done
  • How did he do with the Jets during the playoffs?  Done
  • He also played 12 playoff games in 2016-17 with the Rangers, and how did he do?  Done
  • Probably not the best to start two consecutive sentences with "On (date)".  Done
  • I'm not sure you could use "Philly" in an encyclopedic article, or maybe it's just me...  Done
  • I don't think Fansided (Broad Street Buzz) articles count as reliable. It also didn't load. Done
  • Ref 48 could be replaced by something better than a tweet, even though it's from an official team account. Done

That should be it. Nova Crystallis (Talk) 02:54, 24 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Primary topic is this NHL All-Star. Enormously more all-time pageviews (725,744 for ice hockey, 18,662 for all else). Hameltion (talk | contribs) 00:49, 3 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
