It should be mentioned in the article that Joyce, like many other members of the 1972 team refused their silver medals. Joyce is one member who has had it written into his will (per a Sports Illustrated article on the subject) that no member of his family should accept such a medal posthumously on his behalf.(Ron (talk) 19:31, 27 October 2008 (UTC))[reply]
