Village's present religion[edit]

  • This 2006 source (Page 47) states Khawabi, un bourg sunnite situe sur l'emplacement d'une ancienne citadelle medievale which roughly translates as "Khawabi, a Sunni village situated at the site of a medieval citadel".
  • That same source (Page 275) states Les villages sunnites enclaves dans le territoire alouite - Khawabi, Sahyun, Hamidiyeh which roughly translates as "The Sunni village enclaves in Alawite territory: Khawabi, Sahyun and Hamidiyeh."
  • This source (Page 425) states "... and thence to Khawabi—where the Sunni Muslims have ousted the Ismaili."

Please stop claiming the sources describe Khawabi as inhabited by Alawites—when none of them do—and reverting my restorations. --Al Ameer son (talk) 03:57, 20 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Put these links and sources in the articles so that readers can access the sources and verify the town's demography as being sunni — Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.165.222.16 (talk) 04:54, 20 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
The book links are already provided in the Bibliography section if anybody wants to verify the demographics. I also provided the links above. --Al Ameer son (talk) 22:44, 20 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
