List of Sinclair-owned stations running KidsClick[edit]

Should that actually be something that exists (as a separate page)? Coverage seems to be kind of spotty but it reminds me of the usual TV affiliate stuff. Damnedfan1234 (talk) 08:51, 19 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The official site now lists a bunch of stations, but it seems to be exclusively This TV affiliates. Given some of the stations listed have lost/dropped their This TV affiliation, not a particularly recent list either. Damnedfan1234 (talk) 09:22, 3 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Upcoming programming[edit]

Should DBZ Kai and Kirby be here? The sources are just KidsClick expressing interest in the shows, not them outright planning to air them. --24.158.181.133 (talk) 05:05, 15 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed. I've removed them. EvergreenFir (talk) 05:23, 15 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Also Sonic X and Transformers Prime were added. I reverted the article and will be removing Kirby and DBZ Kai as well. The user behind these edits has been warned already. --IanDBeacon (talk) 19:26, 3 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

TBD runs[edit]

If it's not a national thing, wouldn't that indicate the affiliates are adding it to the subchannel at their own discretion? Anyone know if this is happening in markets where the block was already airing on the main channel? Is this a replacement for that or in addition to? Damnedfan1234 (talk)

End/return grid[edit]

This has been removed in the past, yet the same guy who added it has put it back on. Only two shows on KidsClick have left and returned, and in both cases the break isn't long enough to be noted. Should we remove this again? --Sapphie Jewelpet (talk) 23:22, 17 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Sonic X and Transformers Prime[edit]

At this point, I agree that they shouldn't be listed in the "Upcoming" section unless there's reconfirmation of their run. However, there's no doubt that they were intended to air on the block. Sonic X, in particular, was featured in KidsClick's early promotional material, with the change so last minute the show appears in the original block intro. Some of the affiliates still list the schedule with Sonic X. With Transformers Prime it's not as apparent, but you can spot the key art in the background of those KidsClick collages Sinclair put out. This is Daniel Barnathan and I ran KidsClick from day one with Steve Marks COO Sinclair Broadcast Group. We are both mentioned in this KidsClick's summary. There is a major misrepresentation in the section titled "History" within paragraph #3. The following statement is not true and needs to be deleted "and a major lack of advertisers (the entire block, outside of some direct response television advertisers, featured commercial breaks with only circular promotions for the KidsClick block and web presences)". To be clear, who ever wrote this misrepresented the ad sales success the KidsClick ad sales team had. Senior Management at the Sinclair Broadcast Group did not want to be in the kids business. They wanted to consolidate and focus on their major investments which is in Local News and Sports. The facts are that KidsClick ad sales team wrote millions of dollars in business with some of the top advertisers in the children's marketplace. Misrepresentation of the facts should not be tolerated. Thank you in advance for your consideration. Daniel Barnathan Dbarnathan (talk) 18:35, 19 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Done, could not find a mention of this in reliable sources. – Thjarkur (talk) 23:51, 19 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

“Delayed programming”[edit]

I know Transformers Prime was in a collage for the block, hence its inclusion, but do we have any evidence for G.I. Joe or Mighty Morphin Power Rangers? Also, aside from initial advertisements, there is no evidence Sonic X aired on the block. --TacomasterStudios (talk) 01:21, 2 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Oddbods[edit]

Oddbods never aired on kids kick. If you go back and look it was advertised but never had any airings 107.117.180.54 (talk) 07:36, 13 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
