Name[edit]

This article begins "Alexander Levlovich (alt.: Levlovitz)". This needs more explanation. What is the relevance of the alternative form? Is it a form he himself used? Reedsrecap (talk) 08:14, 24 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

It's COMMON to add alt. transliterations for names in non-Latin alphabets such as Nagari, Chinese, or, in this case, Hebrew. it's user friendly and very useful.E.M.Gregory (talk) 17:51, 26 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
