Ornithopsis leedsi[edit]

The record of Ornithopsis leedsi from the Kimmeridge Clay is based on an indeterminate sauropod pubis referred to Duriatitan by Lydekker (1888) and then to Ornithopsis leedsi by Delair (1959). As noted by Martill et. al. (2006), this specimen is younger than the holotype of O. leedsi, thus there is no basis for referral to O. leedsi.
