Discrepancies Among Wikipedia Cast, Credits of Show, and Actual Appearances[edit]

The cast list has a couple of inconsistencies with the show's credits, which is hard to reconcile with a good source, since the series tends to hit a handful of "stars," and the more obscure kids rarely or never get named.

I notice Nat isn't listed in the cast list, whereas there is a Deepu, whom I don't remember at all. Nat didn't turn up much in later episodes, but was definitely in the credits and appeared in the class earlier on. I wonder if he transferred classes or something. Similarly w/ Charlena and Lorude... Upon rewatching the introductory episode with my wife, I see that the kids' nametags are laid out for them, and there are (not-yet-picked-up) nametags for Deepu and Charlena. I suspect they never actually showed up in the class (were transferred to a different class, moved towns, or something).
