History[edit]

How are we going to present the history of this place, or rather: the history of those two places? Both are documented in Hütteroth and Abdulfattah, and then in every source afterward. We could first do the history of one, then the other. Or we could do it strictly chronologically; first list both the 1596-data, etc. What do others here think? I think have three sections under "History" - one for each place and one for the combined place. Number 57 17:58, 6 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Either would be ok, I think. Incidentally in the mandate period Sumei was often called Kafr Sumei. Similarly in other periods including the modern (Carta's Guide); was it ever called just Sumei? Zerotalk 01:32, 7 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, I´ll do one bit on Kisra (first), then do another on Sumei, I hope some other can help about present-day, as I know next to nothing about that. (Btw, even Hadawi p. 40 calls it Kafr Sumei). If you look at the pictures, there are some lovely ones from a rock-garden there. I have tried to find out more about it, but can only find blogs, etc. ([1] [2] [3]); Nice enough, but not really WP:RS-stuff. If some-one could come up with some WP:RS about it, it would be lovely, Huldra (talk) 21:37, 7 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
