Notability[edit]

Melcous It's good to see you are still ranging the world deciding what readers don't need to know. "No evidence of notability"? See the article on Horst Gehann in German Wikipedia. Or maybe you should delete that article too since it is unnecessary for readers to know about him. You seem to have an anti-reference librarian's perspective. More like a housekeeper who wants to rid the world of clutter. AnthroMimus (talk) 07:02, 11 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Yep, happy to admit I don't like clutter. (And the multitude of people adding names of non-notable people to various articles) If there is evidence of notability, then why not just link to it? Melcous (talk)
So did you review the German Wikipedia article to test your belief of non-notability? Or is it that if you don'tr know something, no one needs to know it? Your students must be quite happy with you as a teacher. BTW, have you seen how many "Notable People" on Wikipedia don't have footnotes (mainly because they are notable I would think)? You have a big task ahead of you eliminating all of them. But then I guess that's what you do here. AnthroMimus (talk) 07:22, 11 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
