[Untitled][edit]

The only notability Kohti Vapautta has comes from allegations that it is a ban evasion vehicle for Nordic Resistance Movement. This article should redirect to Nordic Resistance Movement, in my opinion. MemoryOfSorrowsToCome (talk) 23:34, 5 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@MemoryOfSorrowsToCome and Prospero One: there are plenty of sources all right. See for example Helsingin Sanomat (the biggest daily in the Nordic countries) and Yle (national public broadcaster) – both searches narrowed to 2019–present to eliminate false positives (Yle to one month only, choose "Oma aikaväli" to select 2019).
However, as an organizational matter, it might be wise to merge the article to Nordic Resistance Movement. Even better would be to create Finnish Resistance Movement and include the history of both Finnish Resistance Movement and Kohti Vapautta!
For comparison, on Finnish Wikipedia there is a standalone article for fi:Suomen vastarintaliike (Finnish Resistance Movement), but fi:Kohti Vapautta! is only a redirect to that.– Finnusertop (talkcontribs) 20:13, 25 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Merger proposal[edit]

I propose merging Kohti Vapautta! into Nordic Resistance Movement. See also the discussion above. Kohti Vapautta! is just a proxy front for the NRM after it was banned in Finland in 2019. See Finnish Yle article: [1] ("The police suspects: NRM has continued its activities as Kohti vapautta! despite the ban"). It seems to have been short-lived itself. There isn't much of value here, three citations even use their own webpage which seems inappropriate. --Sankari (talk) 19:30, 7 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
