KSF units; extract from KFOR Chronicle 10[edit]

His first visit was to Pomazatin and the Headquarters of the KSF Civil Protection Regiment (CPR). Following an information in-brief on the capabilities of the CPR by the Regiment’s Commander, Colonel Skender Hoxha, members were observed as they conducted their training. Lieutenant General Markus Bentler was able to observe a “training incident” which required the combined skills of both the Hazardous Material Company and the Fire Fighting Company. He was also able to see the equipment used by the Search and Rescue Company and the fire trucks of the Fire Fighting Company.

Prior to leaving Pomazotin/Pomazatin, Brigadier General Imri Ilazi, Commander of the Operations Support Brigade, commented, “It’s good for COM KFOR to visit KSF units. We, in the Brigade look forward to his visiting the rest of the brigade in the future”. Lieutenant General Markus Bentler’s next stop was Training and Doctrine Center (TRADOC) in Ferizaj/Urosevac where he witnessed a combined demolition operation by the Combat Engineer Platoon of the KFOR Operational Reserve Force and the Operations Support Brigade Engineer Battalion of a partially destroyed building.

Captured weapons?[edit]

Is there any source over captured weapons mentioned in the text (Praga, T-55 etc.). Yugoslav army pulled out entire military equipment except few heavily damaged vehicles which were moved to KFOR bases and later returned to Serbia. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 109.106.241.142 (talk) 17:52, 30 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

We have a museum in my country that there are more weapons like pt 76, anti-aircraft guns not (praga), t 55 and even type 59 from Albania that were supplied by Albania during Battle of Kosare there were about 10 to 40 tanks, mlrs and even anti-tank guns there all in a museum, and even old soviet artillery guns like d 33 or something like that. Vehicles[edit]

Whats up with transportation vehicles or armoured cars? Are there anyone owned and operated by the KSF ? --Dias87 (talk) 20:41, 31 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Kosovan Armed Forces[edit]

Kosovo Security Forces will be disbanded this year and transformed into the Armed Forces of Kosova. So I think this article should be closed and a new one should be made. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.144.243.43 (talk) 20:34, 5 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Kosovo Airforce[edit]

Your thinking doesn’t matter, we are talking with government documents and official developments, Kosova has its Airforce established latly and confirmed by state department of defense. I would say the change is pretty clear: they want this image added. But ZLEA is right to decline here—this needs a reliable source (and, preferably, a caption). ~ Pbritti (talk) 21:49, 26 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The OP added this link shortly after my above comment, apparently trying to provide a ref. However, they broke the page formatting with it, so I'm adding it here. ~ Pbritti (talk) 21:53, 26 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
And, in doing so, just provided evidence that the image is not their own work, but a screenshot of what appears to be an official KSF website (I am a bit skeptical that it is, as I have seen too many obvious fakes over the last few months). We should probably look further into this. - ZLEA T\C 21:59, 26 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

KOSOVO UNIFORMS and helmets[edit]

The first Kosovo digital green camo is made in turkey from YDS Companyand it is used only by Kosovo Army (As it has its map printed in the uniform) so origin is Kosovo, the second uniform is American uniform also used by albanian and kosovo forces. The helmet showed is a made in N.Macedonia helmet, this was told by a military officer of Kosovo. Thanks Kokenspun (talk) 19:25, 4 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If you see the letter in the back, it says Made In Turkey. So even if you want to see my uniform i will show you the fact that they are made in Turkey for Kosovo, by the way Kosovo is the only state ik the world that uses that uniform!

I don't know how authentic a KSF soldier's uniform should be? 185.179.31.39 (talk) 20:55, 5 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Please show us reliable sources that show that the origin of the first camo is USA and not Kosovo, as long as there are no sources please mark it with N/A. 185.179.31.115 (talk) 17:47, 16 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
