Meaning[edit]

"Kuolema Tekee Taiteilijan" is Finnish and means "Death Creates an Artist" Shouldnt it be "Death Makes an Artist", not "Death Creates an Artist" ?

Release[edit]

"It was never released outside Japan and Finland." Incorrect. I bought "Once" from HMV in London, England, Special Edition CD (it has a plastic milky-white jacket with a CD-sized clear circle in the middle through which you see the album's cover). It contains "Kuolema Tekee Taiteilijan". Back cover scan available for titles on request for verification. Where do people get this information and why don't they check it before posting ? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Kosh (talkcontribs) .

Well, I bought it too in Argentina, but that doesn't mean it was released in Argentina, but instead I was lucky and fetched a unit found hidden in a store, which was most likely brought in a very small shipment. -- ReyBrujo 06:26, 19 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I think the article means that the single cd for the song was never released outside of those countries. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Davidd (talkcontribs) .

English Translation[edit]

This is probably off-topic for the discussion page, but does anyone have an english translation to the whole song? Thanks!Blackngold29 (talk) 02:32, 16 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, it is offtopic, but just to let you know, Google for "Kuolema Tekee Taiteilijan" english lyrics and any of the first hits will have both the Finnish and English lyrics. -- ReyBrujo (talk) 04:46, 28 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Genre(s)[edit]

Whoever changes the genre to classical music, please stop. OK I understand you, I used to do the similar thing to song-related articles. But you say classical, then other one will say folk etc. So it's best to leave it at symphonic power lmetal, as it's the overfall term for NW,--Nazzzz (talk) 21:31, 9 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I can kind of see what you mean, it's just that this song has nothing whatsoever to do with heavy metal so I think to call the song symphonic power metal would be misleading. But I'll stop changing it now anyways.74.47.1.211 (talk) 17:06, 11 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
