La Calaca NEVER fought L.A.Park[edit]

Adolfo Tapia NEVER feuded with the wrestler called "La Calaca", that was the late, great Monterrey heel Luis Medina Delgadillo "El Sanguinario". When La Calaca debuted, in December 1996, Tapia had already left the promotion and the luchador formerly known as Karis La Momia obtained a Parka outfit and mask to begin wrestling as La Parka jr. It was LA PARKA Jr. (and thus the former Karis) to have a weak feud with La Calaca as in Triplemania V a botched run-in of Parka jr caused Calaca to lose the mask...But Tapia NEVER fought Medina. Instead, Tapia and Medina were a tag team as Los Invasores del Norte. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.222.43.249 (talk) 19:30, 16 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

La Parka is in AAA![edit]

I'm gonna add that La Parka is in AAA because I know for sure he's in AAA since I see him every week in AAA ----gamehead

No,he`s not. La Parka is the Gimmick, that AAA owns. Adolfo Tapia work`s as L.A. Park now!

Why is the La Parka on the AAA wrestling page linked to this guy then? I just watched it today and it seemed like the same guy, same theme same dancing?

It's a different guy doing the same gimmick. This guy was La Parka before leaving AAA.

AAA makes masks gimmicks but guys like L.A. Park and Psicosis whent to WCW in the United States where the rights didn't apply but WCW died so when they whent back to Mexico they couldn't use it outside of AAA that's he changed it from La Parka to L.A. Park but Psicosis actualy whent to AAA read about it on luchawiki -Prince Bee

Adding more references[edit]

If I search Wikipedia for L.A Park or LA Par-k, I will get nothing I think these references need to be added —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Ungu (talkcontribs) 16:04, 14 March 2007 (UTC).[reply]

Adolfo TapiaLa Parka or LA Park – Tapia has wrestled as Parka and Park for many years. As Parka, he wrestled from 1992 until 2003. He wrestled in AAA and WCW durning the Monday Night Wars, when wrestling was very famous. Since 2003, he wrestles as LA Park, but only in Mexico and sometimes in indy promotions. --HHH Pedrigree (talk) 19:24, 30 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Support to La Parka. As I said, he wrestled in the biggest promotion in the world (WCW) durning the massive following. --HHH Pedrigree (talk) 19:44, 30 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Support - I have no problem with either, but a preference for LA Park, he headlined TripleMania and a ton of CMLL/AAA/Mexican events under that name, bigger than on the undercard at WCW IMO but like I arguments can be made either way, it's definitly NOT Tapia though.  MPJ -US  20:42, 30 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Support to La Parka. Wrestling was so much bigger back in the day when he was La Parka than it is now and even though he wasn't a main eventer in WCW, he was really, really popular and seen by millions who have never heard of his subsequent transformation into L.A. Park. Triplemanía isn't really that big outside of Mexico. It's close, but worldwide, I believe La Parka is still his common name. リボン・サルミネン (Ribbon Salminen) (talk) 11:49, 31 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support A move to either would definitely be an improvement, but La Parka is closer to common name.LM2000 (talk) 04:36, 4 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
