The internal link for Louise Lawrence is not to the pioneering transgender activist born in 1912 but the science fiction author Elizabeth Holden born in 1943. Currently (6/29/2009) there is not a wiki for this early mentor to Virginia Prince. Mino-wiijiindi (talk) 05:20, 29 June 2009 (UTC)

The internal link for Mae West's play The Drag is also to something other than what is being discussed in the article. This link can be found under the 1920s section. Perhaps the contributor to this article could check all the internal links to ensure they take the reader where intended. By the way, why is there no mention of Bash Back!? I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of LGBT movements in the United States's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

History of Transgender Movement in U.S.

This section is not really focused on transgender history, but instead just gives a recap of the general history of LGBT movements. It should be rewritten or incorporated in the rest of the article. Any other ideas, or objections to a rewrite? ABF99 (talk) 19:57, 8 January 2017 (UTC)
