Early stage for amendment[edit]

In April 2012, a proposed amendment was certified for collecting signatures to place it on the ballot. It would define marriage as “a union of two consenting adults, regardless of gender” while letting churches choose which marriages they perform and recognize. It still needs to be reviewed by the Ohio Election Board. If the proponents then collect 10% of the voters signatures, it could appear on the 2013 ballot.[1]When they are certified to collect signatures, it might be worth mentioning.

Same-sex marriage in Ohio[edit]

If Ohio starts recognizing same-sex marriage the a same-sex marriage page should be made for it. --Prcc27 (talk) 04:51, 11 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
