Translation of the french Wikipedia article?[edit]

I don't think the banner asking to translate the french Wikipedia article is useful. The related article La Chapelle-aux-Saints 1 covers the additional information delivered in the french version (and more), and is actually better considering it has sources which isn't the case for the french article. I guess I'll just translate that one phrase about the history of La Chapelle-aux-Saints during the Revolution, and consider the job done. The English article is certainly incomplete but at this stage we can't get any more help from the french article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Munin75 (talkcontribs) 10:30, 25 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Neanderthal burial is a controversial claim[edit]

The artiicle seems to state wiith certainty (Ie that its "confiirmed" etc) that the neanderthal body found was buried wiith gifts and the like. This is still a controversial claim that is still hotly debated withiin archeology. The wikiipedia article on Neanderthals goes into more detail on this. I'm not saying it isn't true that the body was ritually buried, my guess is it probably is true, but wikipedia is the wrong venue for such asssertions,, and needs to remain neutral in what iis still verry much an open academic question 49.255.218.102 (talk) 03:45, 14 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
