Titles during the La Familia era.[edit]

Just to clear things up, in the championships/accomplishments section, we only list titles won while the stable is active.

Edge won the World Title twice with La Familia:

1. At Armageddon (2007), Edge beat Undertaker and Batista in Hell in the Cell, when Hawkins and Ryder interfered (remember they were disguised as Edge; Soon after, they then changed their names from the Major Brothers to Hawkins and Ryder and that was the start of the group).

2. Last night at One Night Stand.

Chavo Guerrero won the ECW Title when Edge helped him out, and that was when Chavo became a full fledged member of the group.

Edge won his 1st World Title in May of '07, Teddy Long was still GM, Vickie was just his assistant, thus Edge wasn't "romantically involved" with her yet, so obviously there was no "Familia".

dispanded[edit]

Edge just broke up with vicky does that meen the groups been disbanded?♥Fighting for charming Love♥ (talk) 23:00, 4 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Maybe. Maybe not. Just wait and find out.--WillC 23:02, 4 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I'd say it's a definite disbandment. Gavyn Sykes (talk) 02:28, 5 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
How can you say it's a "definite disbandment". First off, people break up and get back together all the time, second, they never "broke up", they just called off the wedding, and third and most importantly, Hawkins, Rider, Chavo, and Bam Neely weren't kicked out, meaning that even if the wedding is off, only Vickie is out at this point. We have to wait to see how things play out before we say it's disbanded. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 146.201.172.139 (talk) 00:38, 6 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
they got back to geather anyway :P making the whole storyline rather pointless ♥Fighting for charming Love♥ (talk) 16:59, 14 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Why did someone put Edge as a former member? You don't know if the stable will side with Edge or Vickie, or if they will get back together like they have previously, or if the stable will disband. Wait until we find out what will happen before you do stuff like that. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 146.201.172.139 (talk) 01:18, 21 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

They are not official disbanded okay the IP above me is correct we don't know anything about this okay? SuperSilver901 (talk) 12 August 2008 (UTC)

THEY ARE NOT DISBANDED![edit]

As far as im concerned Edge is no longer a member BUT THAT DOESN'T MEAN THEY ARE DISBANDED!SuperSilver901 (talk) 19 August 2008 (UTC)

I agree Muhand (talk)

The September 19 tapings of Smackdown shows that they are still a group. Here are the following reasons:

  • On Carlito's Cabana, Hawkins and Ryder Referenced Edge and La Familia.
  • Chavo imitated the Undertaker with Vickie and Big Show.
  • Hawkins, Ryder, and Bam Neely were in Vickie's office talking to each other about what happened in the Cabana. Chavo came in and told them to leave so he can watch what happened to the Undertaker. He didn't act like what Ban Neely did to him was affecting him. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.120.33.166 (talk) 18:12, 20 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Big Show?[edit]

Big Show is not a member of La Familia. WWE has not mentioned that he is a part of the group. He should be removed from the list of members.

Still a stable[edit]

La Familia are still together! They were seen on television together. I think they should be considered a current stable but at semi-regular basis.

Muhand (talk) 18:48, 22 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

true, big show is in la familia though Kalajan (talk) 16:53, 7 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No he isn't SuperSilver901 (talk) 19:10, 9 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

OK silver spoon, he isn't but the familia is back now vickie and edge are together again, and then being married makes it more so Gangsterwolf (talk) 19:46, 8 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Big Show is in it. Does he have a "Buisness relationship" with Vickie Guerrero? Yes. Is he seen backstage with her? Yes. Does he do things to help her in exchange for title matches among other things? Yes. He's in it. -- I tried adding a former members section... If someone could get that right for me please? KP317 Hollywoodd 17:52, 12 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Was he ever mentioned as being a member of La Familia? No. Were the other members of the group? Yes. Tony2Times (talk) 15:02, 17 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Still going? Or worth a mention[edit]

The name La Familia isn't used anymore, however half of the group still actively work together on SmackDown as a power unit. Surely this warrants a mention on the page at least, if not even a new section like how The Hardy Boys has a section on the tag team, then another on Team Xtreme. Tony2Times (talk) 01:15, 18 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

No, as they don't team anymore. Curt and Zack are god knows where, and CHavo wrestles in singles. Neely is gone, and Edge and Vickie are not a tag team. SimonKSK 02:13, 18 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
But they're a stable, not a tag team. Chavo may not team with Edge but they barely did before anyway, Chavo still works for Vickie and Edge (facing Cena, seen backstage sorting out their business) and while Neely and the Major Bros aren't around, as I said before there's a section in The Hardy Boys article with Lita and without her. The article talks about the group quietly disbanding after Edge was sent to hell, not once Edge was banished from the group. If they can exist without their most important member, surely they can exist without their least important. Tony2Times (talk) 14:43, 10 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Gimmick[edit]

Did Edge really state all those roles on ECW? I seldom watch it so I would have missed it, but I checked the report for that episode and Edge wasn't even mentioned while the reports from weeks nearby don't mention it. Tony2Times (talk) 22:28, 19 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I don't remember him mentioning those names, and I either saw or read detailed ECW reports for when the group was around. RobJ1981 (talk) 02:17, 20 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
