Lai Sheng-JungLai Sheng-jung – When using Wade–Giles, the second syllable of a given name should not be capitalised, see WP:NC-ZH#Romanization of names. --Relisted. Armbrust The Homunculus 06:14, 10 July 2014 (UTC) Mohsen1248 (talk) 02:01, 3 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose blindly following the guideline does not match use in the real world. People from Taiwan frequently (usually) capitalize their second syllables. While the WG guideline functions for people of the past, people of today can be examined for what is currently used to refer to them. [1] the dominant form capitalizes the "J". -- 65.94.171.126 (talk) 04:57, 3 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
