Poorest town in Colorado[edit]

I added the following, which was reverted by [User:Sbmeirow]:

In 2017, Lamar was identified as being the poorest town in Colorado using the U.S. Census Bureau's American Community Survey data.[1]

With the following reason given:

non-notable website, not important detail, not static information because continually changes, removed for similar reason why we don't single out other stats, like most blacks or least blacks in a city

Even though none of these objections cite WP:MOS, I will address these one by one:

  • "non-notable website". Presumably this is a reference to WP:RS. However, no specific condition within WP:RS was cited. Moreover, 247wallst.com is frequently used as a source throughout Wikipedia: [1]
  • "not important detail". If we assume that having a section on "Economy" is relevant to a geographic article -- and having such is pervasive throughout Wikipedia -- then noting a statistical extreme is indeed notable.
  • "not static information". That is why the year 2017 was cited.
  • "removed for similar reason why we don't single out other stats, like most blacks or least blacks in a city". Per-capita income is not a racial statistic. I cannot even begin to address this objection because I don't know why it was made.

1) 247wallst website isn't notable, it's a click-bait website that doesn't have a wikipedia article for the website. If it's frequently used, then it only means the domain has slid under the radar.
2) 247wallst article doesn't provide any government reference to validate that each city is actually the lowest of each state.
3) Non-decade years means that all census related information is estimated. By non-static, I mean that income is continuously moving up and down.
4) I didn't say it was racist, you did. I said that singling out specific demographics as being either the best or worst, which are typically frowned upon.
5) One more issue, your link doesn't point at the exact colorado sub-webpage, which is unrelated issue.
