Untitled[edit]

Hi -- there's a lot more information about Lamar here, and I thought it might make a useful external link for readers. What do others think? Full disclosure - I work for Wikinvest. Parkerconrad 21:00, 18 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

How much of Quest Outdoor billboards out of Louisville, KY can be found and mentioned, please and thank you?

POV[edit]

I've recently added a POV tag to the article, as I do not believe that the article keeps to a neutral point of view. Several parts of the article seem to be in more of a "promoting" stance for the company, particularly the section Going Green and Reaching Out. The article is also poorly sourced and does not verify any of the information in the previously mentioned section, along with several other parts of the article. I went ahead and edited the problematic stuff, cutting out redundant information, toning down the PR-speak, and making the whole article adhere to a neutral tone. I think it's objective enough now that I've removed the NPOV tag, but it still has sourcing problems, so the citation tag is still there.--98.71.96.10 (talk) 01:54, 27 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Conflict of interest[edit]

Contributer BLS93 has changed their username from EBLS-Lamar and appears to possibly have some sort of professional affiliation with the company. -- dsprc [talk] 15:30, 3 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I've reverted all additions to the article - it was highly promotional and including copyrighted content copied from the official site. I'll leave the appropriate warnings on the user's talk page. Thanks, ~SuperHamster Talk Contribs 15:40, 3 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

lamar: sick and twisted[edit]

two topics i would bring up (if i were a wikipedia contributor) are what i know about lamar and why i don't like it (beyond the fact that their market control is disturbing and billboards and advertsing in public space is bonkers). 1) they stopped protesters of kentucky's ark experience theme park from purchasing space and 2) they received taxpayer funds from portland, oregon's, tri-met transit system to tear down bus stop shelters and replace. some of them with anti-homeless ( and -elderly, -disabled, -anyone who needs to set their children or bags down, or is tired and wants to sit, waiting for the ever-increasingly infrequent buses) slanted benches that, featured advertising space so lamar coulld make even more money 75.132.255.56 (talk) 03:02, 17 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
