Ur[edit]

The original title was wrong. It is Ur kärlekens språk. There is also a 2004 followup called Kärlekens språk but this is not the same movie. There should also be a disambiguation section for this article.

What are barbatians? ( mentioned in this article) It has been confirmed by public knowledge that barbatians cannot speak this so called "Langauge of Love." 71.207.224.57 (talk) 19:44, 8 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I deleted that sentence. It appears to be vandalism, as it was added a few weeks ago, unsourced. Someone correct me if I was wrong to do so, although I doubt the edit was serious.IrishStephen (talk) 18:35, 22 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Protests[edit]

I clicked through to this to find out what were the nature of the protests about the film (London only?)? I can guess (so-called moral panic?), but the article should state them properly, with cites. Jimthing (talk) 23:08, 14 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Taxi Driver[edit]

That Language of Love would be the movie shown in Taxi Driver is a misconception. A very common misconception, and one that can be found in decent sources beucase they've had no reason to question it, but nevertheless untrue. Elisabet Björklund at the University of Lund discusses this in her 2011 article "‘This is a dirty movie’ – Taxi Driver and ‘Swedish sin’" in Journal of Scandinavian Cinema 1 (2) pp. 163–176. The scenes are from the American sexplotation film Sexual Freedom in Demark, with added Swedish sound. /Julle (talk) 10:49, 8 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
