Does the word 'Lantmanna' mean anything in particular? – Kaihsu 17:58, 9 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Lant- is an adjective part connect with "agrarian" in English, -manna is an adjectival version of man ("man", "person"). Rough translation: Lantmannapartiet = "Agrarian Men's Party", or "Party of the Rural People", or something along those lines. "Farmer's Party" would not be strictly correct. —Gabbe 22:47, 9 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
