Vandalism[edit]

Based on people's opinion, while being a cheapskate is not true, he is disliked by a lot of fans. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Nobody1231234 (talkcontribs) 05:18, 1 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I understand that people are upset about the latest trades that the Indians have made... but really, venting on Wikipedia? The vandalism has to stop. Navie05 (talk) 22:10, 31 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I dont think this page pushes the fact that Dolan is a Cheepskate enough —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.241.151.205 (talk) 04:16, 10 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

...which is the opposite of why I tagged it with {{POV}}. 70.239.7.16 (talk) 03:30, 31 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed with the last editor. This article is not neutral in tone nor content and is in need of a good edit on those grounds. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.35.72.250 (talk) 03:36, 1 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Completely concur. There are plenty of great Cleveland sports blogs on which Dolan's actions can be debated. Wikipedia isn't one of them. --Navratil42 (talk) 05:23, 1 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Source of Wealth[edit]

Shouldn't there be some discussion of the source of Larry's wealth that enabled him to purchase the Cleveland Indians for $323,000,000? It's not really conceivable that a former public prosecutor earned $323,000,000 as a one of several partners in a local Ohio law practice. The jump in the article from partner in a local law firm to purchasing a professional sports franchise should be explained because it's not clear or apparent in the article how he got the money to purchase the team. I think it's pretty clear the money either came directly from his brother Charles or through Larry's involvement or investments in his brothers Charles' Cablevision ventures. Even in the Personal Life section when it mentions his brothers is Charles Dolan it makes no mention that his brother is a multi-billionaire founder of Cablevision.
