Contested deletion[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because it passes WP:MUSICIAN by several points:

  • Point #1 - Has been the subject of multiple, non-trivial, published works appearing in sources that are reliable, not self-published, and are independent from the musician or ensemble itself.
    • MTV article most reliably plus others cited in the article
  • Point #2 - Has had a single or album on any country's national music chart -
    • 2 songs that have charted on Billboard magazine including one that is currently charting. Just check billboard.com yourself - it's there!
  • Point #4 - Has received non-trivial coverage in independent reliable sources of an international concert tour, or a national concert tour in at least one sovereign country.
    • Currently on a national United States tour with Aaron Shust as cited in the article. Royalbroil 04:39, 17 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Sounds Factual[edit]

Then when she felt the Lord brought her into that solitude, — Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.231.2.224 (talk) 15:46, 30 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

You're right. I put the story template message and a couple primary source templates on there, the latter half of that paragraph is all cited from her own website. Perhaps someone could take up the task of fixing that? That would be great. Else, in a few weeks, I may delete most of it and write something with better sources. Lauren Daigle Performances on Late night shows[edit]

There has been many articles now reporting on the fact that Lauren Daigle has performed on Jimmy Fallon's Tonight Show and Ellen's show. I'm really not sure if it's super notable due to recentism, but maybe someone else has an opinion on this? Awsomaw (talk) 05:27, 18 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Where I live, Ellen first airs at 10 AM. In the rest of North America, she also airs in the afternoon. Jimmy Fallon is a night show, though. The thing is, there is no consensus as to whether or not Christians should listen to her, as those who follow celebrity pastors like Joel Osteen and Joyce Meyer are more likely to accept these shows, while those with more fundamental pastors are more likely to reject them. I think that's Walter's point in the comments below. There is enough news coverage from outlets like the Christian Post that talk about these TV performances, so over time, we'll see if it's worth adding on Wikipedia. --LABcrabs (talk) 15:59, 9 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Not God[edit]

I’m not sure there should a section created from this on the talk page but Lauren Daigle was a guest on The Dominick Nati Show last she couldn’t say one way or another if homosexuality is a sin.

Christian Singer Lauren Daigle on Homosexuality: ‘I Can’t Say One Way or The Other. I’m Not God’ http://www1.cbn.com/cbnnews/2018/december/christian-singer-lauren-daigle-on-homosexuality-i-cant-say-one-way-or-the-other-im-not-god

Her interview can be listen at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rXKHm_KPw6o — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ruhjxppug (talkcontribs) 14:27, 4 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Not really a defining issue to state she's not God. It's also far from controversial to state that. As for homosexuality, it's only an issue for a small segment of conservative Evangelicals. Also not newsworthy, unless Daigle were to make it a defining position for her career. Walter Görlitz (talk) 16:26, 4 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Need prose about the Christmas album[edit]

We need to have some prose about Behold: A Christmas Collection as it's a bit jarring to have prose about her debut album then prose about her third album and no mention of this album. Walter Görlitz (talk) 14:12, 30 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I grabbed some from the article, but additional details would be useful. Walter Görlitz (talk) 14:28, 30 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Charleston WV show[edit]

My daughter is possesed with Lauren Daigel and I was wondering if she could possibly meet her at this show. She has limited income but paid the price to get pretty good seats. She talks about her all the time, buys her C D's and sings her songs in church. She would be on top of the world if this could happen. Her name is Cheryl Gilkey and is disabled but does all she can do to help others and very dedicated Christian and to her church. I didn't know how to get this to her but thought maybe it could be possible. This would be such a blessing for Cheryl. Thank you very much and pray that she gets this message. 173.81.228.71 (talk) 18:16, 2 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
