Newbie[edit]

Hi - I'm new to editing on Wikipedia so would be grateful to anyone who points out how this page can be improved. I'm planning on coming back to this page and filling in a lot more content. I'd like to create a whole section on the Hart Devlin debate as it provides the basis upon which most jurisprudence has been published, at least regarding legal moralism in criminal law. Tadros, Hart and Ashworth have all made significant contributions. The criminal law is the area in which legal moralism is most relevant (and on which I have the most knowledge), but I'm mindful that moralism can be relevant to the civil law. I am writing from an English legal background. This debate transcends national legal jurisdictions to some extent, but I am mindful that I am not able to provide much of a multi-jurisdictional account. The question as to the proper limits of the criminal law includes many other theories, including legal liberalism and legal paternalism. Would it be appropriate for these topics to be given their own pages? S
